Licenses and Macs

A Pro license is a key that unlocks Pro in the app. This page describes how licenses will work when Pro opens with the first public release.

One license, one Mac

A license is active on one Mac at a time. When you change Macs, deactivate the old one — in the app or in your account on mxds.app — and activate the new one.

Offline

mxds checks the license when it is online. Without a connection, Pro keeps working for up to 14 days.

When Pro ends

If a subscription is cancelled, Pro stays active until the end of the year you paid for. After a refund, the license stops working and mxds goes back to the Free plan.
