Terms of Service

mxds is free to use. Pro is a yearly subscription sold through Paddle, refundable within 14 days. Your data stays yours, and you are responsible for the agents you run.
1. Who we are
mxds is made by Ruslan Hryshchenko, a sole proprietor registered in Ukraine (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at hello@mxds.app. These terms apply to the mxds app, the mxds CLI, this website and Pro subscriptions. By downloading or using mxds you agree to them.
2. Your license to use mxds
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use mxds on Macs you own or control, under these terms. The Free plan has no time limit. Pro unlocks the features listed on the Pricing page for as long as your subscription is paid, on one Mac per license at a time.
3. Buying Pro
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Paddle’s Buyer Terms apply to the purchase itself.
Pro is a yearly subscription. It renews automatically every year at the price shown when it renews, until you cancel it. You can cancel any time; Pro stays active until the end of the year you paid for.
4. Refunds
You can get a full refund within 14 days of a purchase or a renewal. See the Refund Policy.
5. What you may not do
- Share, sell or rent your license, or use one license on more Macs than it allows.
- Get around the license check or the limits of the Free plan.
- Reverse engineer, decompile or modify mxds, except where the law allows it.
- Use mxds to break the law or to harm the systems of others.
6. Your data and your agents
Your databases, files, queries and results are yours. mxds works with them on your Mac and does not send them to us. The databases, AI agents, models and other services you connect to mxds are provided by others under their own terms. You are responsible for the commands, queries and agents you run, including what an agent does on your behalf.
7. Updates and changes
We update mxds regularly and every update is free. Features may change over time.
8. Open-source components
mxds includes open-source software. Its licenses and notices ship inside the app, and they govern those components.
9. No warranty
mxds is provided “as is”. We work hard to make it reliable, but we do not promise that it is free of errors or fits every purpose. Keep backups of data that matters.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost data or lost profits, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Ending the agreement
You can stop using mxds at any time. If you break these terms, we may end your license.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For a material change we will give notice in advance on this page and, if you have a Pro subscription, by email.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine, and disputes go to the courts of Ukraine. If you are a consumer, nothing in these terms takes away the rights that the law of your country gives you and that cannot be waived by contract.
